Go Keno Krazy at Littlewoods Casino

Go Keno Krazy at Littlewoods Casino
Littlewoods Casino is hosting a Krazy Keno Race today (Wednesday 20 July) so anyone who is a fan of the lottery-style game can take part and give themselves a chance of becoming one of 50 prize winners. The top prize in the Krazy Keno Race is £60, and that is on top of whatever cash is won from the Keno game itself, so the profit potential for online casino players who take part is substantial. Play Now The Krazy Keno Race started at 00:00 GMT and runs all day long until 23:59 GMT, which makes it suitable for everyone with a little time to spare. There is no entry fee but you will need to make a deposit of £30 or more during race hours to qualify for participation. When you have done that you can head straight over to the Keno game to get started. For those who haven’t played the game before, Keno involves selecting a batch of numbers and seeing how many of those numbers are matched when the Keno results are drawn straight after. The more numbers you select and match, the more cash you can win, which means that you can be as conservative or as ambitious as your personality demands. As you place bets on the Keno game you will earn Krazy Keno Race points, and if you are one of the 50 players to have accumulated the most points at the end of the race you will win a prize, as follows: Finish in 1st to 3rd place and you will win £60Finish in 4th to 13th place and you will win £30Finish in 14th to 33rd place and you will win £10Finish in 34th to 50th place and you will win £5 If you qualify for any of the above prizes then you will be sent an email confirming that fact and you will then need to claim your prize within three days, so be sure to keep an eye on your inbox and make your claim quickly so that you don’t miss out. Visit Littlewoods Casino (see our review here) to read through the complete rules, then get involved in the Krazy Keno Race and good luck! Atlantic City Casino Revenues Still Plummeting Past Recession End

Atlantic City Casino Revenues Still Plummeting Past Recession End
Even though the recession seems to be over, Atlantic City casino revenues are still on a steady decline. While much of the US is slowly returning back from the effects of the recession, casinos in Atlantic City continue to see steady decline in their revenues. According to statistics from the New Jersey Casino Control Commission, the gaming industry in Atlantic City saw income for July drop five percent from last year’s numbers.Only the Atlantic City Hilton and the Trump Taj Mahal were able to report better business this year than in 2009. Nine other casinos suffered losses from the year previous, and those figures were significantly down from 2008.Casino operators had used the national impact of the recession as a scapegoat for much of Atlantic City’s gaming trouble, but other factors continue to ravage the area’s gambling business. Increased competition in neighboring states has ended New Jersey’s exclusivity on the East Coast, and the convenience of online casinos continues to draw players in anticipation of the opening of the US gaming market.Governor Christie has proposed a state takeover of the city’s gambling district, but it is debatable whether New Jersey will be able to reverse the direction of the devastation simply through better branding and advertising.State Senator Ray Lesniak has led the way on several bold concepts designed to rescue Atlantic City’s gaming business, including challenging the federal ban on sports betting and suggesting intrastate online gambling run by AC casinos, but the measures are opposed by powerful foes both locally and nationally. In the meantime, New Jersey’s dependable cash cow seems to have gone hooves up. Prescott-Anschutz 8th Meeting Revealed

Prescott-Anschutz 8th Meeting Revealed
John Prescott was reportedly given a VIP tour of the London offices of casino mogul Philip Anschutz’s company one month after his controversial two-night stay at the Millennium Dome’s owner’s Colorado estate. The visit over summer of 2004 was not declared by Prescott. The eighth meeting was previously undisclosed, and it was believed that he only met up with Anschutz on six other occasions, with the Colorado visit being the last. The eighth meeting was allegedly with senior figures from Anschutz Entertainment Group, the firm bidding for the Millennium Dome to be turned into Britain’s first super casino. The meeting allegedly took place on August 17, 2005 as part of a visit to the Greenwich Peninsula. He is said to have been shown models of what the Dome would look like after its completion by chief executive Tim Leiweke. Tim Leweke is said to play a pivotal role in the company’s relationship between the government and casino mogul Anschutz. He was at five of the seven meetings between Prescott and Anschutz. It was also said that the day after Prescott left the ranch, Leiweke and his wife hosted a drinks reception for him to celebrate the success of London’s bid for the 2012 Olympic Bid, where Anschutz gave $1.5 million for the campaign. Hugo Swire, the Shadow Culture Secretary, said: “This eighth meeting further confirms that we need the Deputy Prime Minister to respond to our questions as a matter of urgency. The longer he takes to do this, the longer this public pantomime will rumble on.” Don Foster, the Liberal Democrat culture spokesman, said: “Mr Prescott has clearly invested a huge amount in this particular project and the independence of the Casino Advisory Panel must be assured.”

Xenophon Continues Anti-Online Gambling Crusade In Australia

Xenophon Continues Anti-Online Gambling Crusade In Australia
Nick Xenophon has spent the last couple of years pushing for stronger regulations in the Australian gaming industry. Xenophon has made no secret of his desire to rid the country of gambling completely, although he has had a hard time convincing his fellow lawmakers to eliminate the big revenue-maker.Now comes a report that Australians have used PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, two of the largest online poker sites in the world, and two sites that were frequently targeted in a US Department of Justice crackdown. The report has Xenophon again looking to go after anyone involved with allowing the illegal gambling, and on his hit list this week was the Australian Federal Police. Xenophon claims the AFP has not been aggressive enough in going after the illegal online gambling.”There could be a hidden epidemic of problem gambling from online gambling that we just don’t know about,” said Xenophon. He went on to claim that the law enforcement officials are to blame for not moving quickly to defuse the potential problem.Xenophon’s stance is not one that is shared by many lawmakers. In most cases, lawmakers are looking to join other nations such as France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, in creating a regulated system of Internet gambling. Xenophon is strongly opposed to any such regulations, and it could cause a showdown amongst lawmakers in the coming years. The Australian government has been attempting to slow problem gambling at a land-based level. The government is pushing legislation that would require casinos to install technology that would force gamblers to set betting limits before they played slot machines. The casinos are seeking to have that be an option, instead of a requirement.Another potential problem in Australia is sports betting. Sports leagues have called on the government to create laws making it a felony to be involved with any type of sports cheating associated with gambling. Sports betting is a big business, not only in Australia, but around the world, becoming a billion dollar industry over the past decade.
